The Delaware National Guard Family Assistance Center is one of the components of the Delaware National Guard Family Programs. It is considered to be a one-stop shop for military members and ther families. Family Assistance Centers are established in times of normal operations, contingency call-up, mobilization, and large-scale deployment to provide support and assistance to service members and their families. Though the primary purpose of a Family Assistance Center is to serve activated National Guard members and their families, all military members called to active duty and their families are eligible to receive assistance. Additionally, Veterans and Retired Service members can receive information and assistance from the Delaware National Guard Family Assistance Center. The Family Assistance Center provides Six Essential Family Assistance Center Services. They are ID Cards/DEERS, TRICARE/Dental, Emergency Financial Referral & Assistance, Legal Referral & Assistance, Crisis Referral and Intervention and Community Resource/Information and Referral. The Delaware National Guard Family Programs became received Accreditation from the Council of Accreditation in August of 2015.
