HR 303, Retired Pay Restoration Act, will provide for concurrent receipt of Veterans· disability compensation and retirement pay for disabled retirees with fewer than 20 years of service and a combat-related disability. While fiscal responsibility is important, placing that burden on the shoulders of our disabled Veterans is unconscionable. This bill will shift the burden back to the United States government where it belongs.
