Daniel Dickinson

Daniel served his first enlistment in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969. He deployed to Vietnam aboard the USS Hickman County LST-825 where he delivered supplies via river. After a break in service, he reenlisted in the U.S. Navy Seabees and deployed to Puerto Rico, Guam and Diego Garcia where he constructed buildings such as hospitals. After an injury in Diego Garcia, Dan left the Navy and received medical care from Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
