Thomas W Tefts-03

Thanks for getting back to me. My father was a cornerback on the Air Force football team back in the early 1950's. He was an Airmen First Class and guarded the airfield at Elmendorf Alaska during the Korean War. He was also involved in the hi-tech area for that time period doing typewriter repair work.

His father was George Trefts who spent much of WWII in the Army in North Africa.
My mom's brother was in the U.S. Army as a writer in WWII serving in the European Theatre. My father's brother Albert was a Navy Destroyer Captain. My Great Grandfather on my dad's side served in WW1. My grandfather on my mom's side was also in WW1.

After the War he bought one of the early "Indian?" Style Harleys Motorcycles and worked the oilfields in Texas.

He met my mother in Chautauqua, NY and they got married and moved to Avon Lake, Ohio. I arrived on July 3, 1961.
